Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Veil, an international research group is conducting a research project on the codification of European capital market law. As part of this project, a book entitled Regulating EU Capital Markets Union. Volume I: Fundamentals of a European Code was published in 2024.
In 2025, the research group published a further book which examines EU market abuse, short selling, corporate disclosure and public takeover law in a European codification act: Regulating EU Capital Markets UnionVolume II: Market Conduct and Corporate Disclosure in a European Code.
