Enrolling in Courses

The course catalogue and schedule of classes is presented on our website under „Semesterkurse“ (for the courses during the regular semester) and “Ferienkurse” (for the courses during the semester break).

To enrol officially in classes for the semester, you must

1. send an email to fachsprachenzentrum@jura.uni-muenchen.de for each course you want to participate in with the following information:

  • surname, first name
  • faculty, Erasmus contact person at LMU
  • matriculation number
  • email address

2. write as object the name of the course you want to attend, attach your registration in the form of a PDF file or photo

  • your student ID, which you can also download from your LSF account (if you are not already a current student at LMU, you can hand it in or send it later), and
  • a data privacy statement (DOCX, 186 KB), which you have to fill in and sign.
  • during the registration period: from March, 4 to 31. The registration period has been extended to April, 8 for the courses where there are still places available (please see under "Aktuelles Kursangebot - Vorlesungszeit"). As of April, 9 you can check the list of participants published under the respective course on the Moodle course. Access to this Moodle course "Fachsprachenzentrum Verwaltung" is only possible using the enrolment key deposited on the intranet site of the Faculty of Law and linked to Moodle. This also applies to the intensive courses during the semester break. Only Erasmus incoming will be given priority and always get a spot in the selected course.

The enrollment for "Common Law Terminology" and "Introduction to American Law Terminology" is through LSF, but since you don't have access to it, just register by email.

As to the registration period for the intensive courses during the semester break, see our website under “Kursangebot - Vorlesungsfreie Zeit” and click on the site “Anmeldeverfahren - Vorlesungsfreie Zeit”.

If you have not enrolled by the final deadline, your registration will be considered only if there are places available in the course you have selected.
